MESSAGE FROM OUR HEAD OF CAMPUS & PRINCIPAL

Soaring with the Eagles. In a VUCA world (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous), you never know what to expect. We prepare students for the future by creating a holistic educational framework, transforming students’ lives through experience and design thinking skills, through which they can practice the capabilities, character, and beliefs they need to be empowered, informed, and engaged as citizens of the world today. Each student will be equipped with practical real-world skills that will prepare them to face the challenges of a VUCA world and the 4th Industrial Revolution or ‘4IR’. The 3 actionable learning tools that takes place at UCSI Schools Springhill Campus, in line to survive the VUCA world is by developing resilience, reframing thinking and hone leaning agility. 21st century education and the VUCA learning experience respond to the economical, technological and social shifts that are happening at an ever-increasing pace. It’s an education that sets students up to succeed in a world where more than half of the jobs they’ll have over their careers don’t even exist today. At UCSI Schools Springhill Campus, our education philosophy is all about giving students the skills they need to succeed in this new world and helping them grow the confidence to practice those skills. Technology incorporated education allows so much information readily available to students and how they use this information in smart ways. Coming from the tertiary background and having spent years innovating and transforming education in many education institutions both locally and globally, I truly believe in holistic education with both being ready for the VUCA world and the real world where we live in. The dynamics of education is not just technology and innovative education but the essence of being able to build character and leadership skills. Respect, cultural tolerance and being a global citizen is the essence for all students. Sports, living skills, first aid, self-defence and cooking are an integral part in developing students’ lives and at UCSI Springhill Campus every child will be equipped and trained to be able to survive the real world out there. While technology and the 4th Industrial Revolution -‘4IR” is inevitable the real-world skills are the essence to prepare a child to be independent and ready to take on responsibilities in life. In coming months there will certainly be a variety of activities that involves cultural, sports, global citizen awareness program and sustainable education that we will continue to teach and educate our students at campus through classroom and activity-based learning. The art of learning and managing an education institution is all about being aware, ready to change, to ensure the best in holistic education and overall building character and leadership among our students. Stay tuned as the dynamics of education are coming your way.

Thank you all.
