We strive to be transparent with parents at each stage of the admission process and consider all applications on an individual basis, keeping in mind circumstances surrounding each child. Students interested in joining SRI UCSI SPRINGHILL are required to go through the following process:

Placement Test (Not required for Pre School applicants)
After your full and completed application is received, a date will be scheduled for your child to undergo the GL Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4), which is a standard means of assessing a student’s ability to reason with and manipulate different types of material through a series of verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial ability tasks.
We are non-selective and use the CAT4 as a means of assessing potential. The results will provide data that will assist the school in building an individual learning pathway for the student. However, it may also indicate that more specialist support is required and this support may not be available at Sekolah Sri UCSI Springhill.
CAT4 assesses a student’s ability to reason with and manipulate different types of material through a series of verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial ability tasks. Three online tests are taken during the assessment period and in order to be considered for a place, prospective students will be expected to demonstrate they have at least average potential in these tests.
Students may be invited in to the school for an additional interview and/or asked to provide further evidence of their aptitude in such areas as English Language and Bahasa Malaysia before a final decision is made. Students will sit for the test applicable to the year group appropriate for their age.
Admission Interview (Optional)
Applicants may be required to attend an Interview session with the principal if required. This is to have a better understanding of the applicant.
Acceptance / Conditional Acceptance
Parents are required to submit other documents as per application checklist and pay the Deposit and Registration fee to confirm their seat. An Acceptance or Conditional Acceptance letter will be given to the successful applicant.
