Sekolah Sri UCSI Springhill Campus adds depth and substance to our curriculum by enhancing it with selected elements from the United Kingdom education syllabus; especially in English, Mathematics and Science. The English curriculum implemented and taught follows the Cambridge O-Level or Cambridge 1119 standards. In addition, we also promote the teaching of Mathematics and Science in English using textbooks and resources that are globally recognised from the United Kingdom. Students in Standard 6 and Form 3 sit for the Cambridge Checkpoint exams which is set by the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE). Compare to local government schools, additional learning periods are allocated for all core subjects in Sekolah Sri UCSI Springhill Campus.
Cambridge Primary
The subjects taught are English, Mathematics and Science. Students do have the option to sit for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Test in Primary 6. The tests are marked in Cambridge and provide us with an external international benchmark for our students’ performance. Each student receives a statement of achievement from Cambridge.
Cambridge Lower Secondary
The subjects taught are English, Mathematics and Science. Students do have the option to sit for the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Tests in Form 3. The tests are marked in Cambridge and provide us with an external international benchmark for our students’ performance. Each student receives a statement of achievement from Cambridge.
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
IGCSE is offered to only selected students in the Upper Secondary and the subjects taught are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English. Students will sit for the IGCSE examination by Cambridge Assessment International Education.
